The one successful strategy seems working for AAP is using the media to hog the limelight and keep the screen presence, which is very important for urban Indian folks.  All their protests and agitations are targeted at electronic media, and here the former journalists in their think tank seems playing a important role.

But the social media, which is very much dependent upon electronic media is dual edged sword, as it makes images it breaks them very fast.  It is working against them in this regard, as the congregation of political left outs join AAP, they bring in different characters and amalgamation of which makes AAP loose its character.

Utter lack of vision and ideology in Arvind Kejriwal, makes the AAP vulnerable to anarchist ideas spawn by various leaders of the party. Already the civil society has lost faith in AAP and which will cascade to common man which the party targets to make its future.

Laloo Prasad Yadav is finally in jail, thanks to fodder scam, seems to shattered man, he may have never though about a politician going to jail for corruption charges.

Nitish Kumar the savior of down trodden, and messiah of minorities lost the sheen since shifting to congress fold, 'Ab topi pehenke bhi koi faayada nahi...'.

Biggest rise of during the year is of Narendra Modi, despite the cacophony of congress, paid media, and sec-liberals about his so-called role in Gujarat riots, which the legal system of india has quashed time and again.  Another rise, a la comet, is Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Aadmi Party, Kiran Bedi once said of his achievements as a formula to become Chief Minister in two years, which get Gandhi like pure soul, in this case Anna Hazare, build a social cause, spin of a party from it and win elections to become CM.

Anna Hazare has declared a war on corruption by fast until death. The UPA governments apathy towards cleaning the system of corruption has aggrieved the situation.

Despite writing many times to UPA Chairman Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister MM Singh, the Congress has never shown any interest in fighting the corruption, it is clear now that the political will is lacking as the government is stooped in corruption.

To make it farcical PM has appointed a group of ministers which include Sharad Pawar himself facing many charges of corruption, Virappa Moily who is blamed to have diluted the Lokpal legislation and Kapil Sibal the advocate without integrity who declared there is no loss of revenue in 2G scam.

It is played between Shashi Tharror, the junior minister in UPA government and IPL commissioner Lalit Modi, and seems giving max TRP to the news channels. Both the players are playing to their stake, which is very high. At the moment Tharoor has upper hand, and seems used his good offices to put Lalit Modi under IT department scanner, but the damage has been done to Shashi Tharrors position via media scrutiny.

Nationalist Congress party and (non Nationalist ) Congress

Nationalist congress party of Sharad Pawar and other (not nationalist) Congress of Sonia Gandhi, used to differ on only one issue that is, foreign origin of Sonia Gandhi. Over the years the situation has changed and Sharad Pawar or his party men has no issues with origin of Sonia Gandhi, then for what reasons Sharad Pawar is still maintaining his separate identity?

It is absolutely right on their part to raise this question. But Sharad Pawar is silent, he knows that, he is going through a bad phase in his political career. The losses in General Elections 2009 and the arrest of his close friend and relative Mr. Padmasinh Patil has worsened the situation for him.

Imran Hashmi and his allegations against a housing society

The posh housing society 'Nibban' has hit back at Imran Hashmi by demanding a apology for defaming the society after a Saturday meeting of the members.

The reasons for denial of NOC are not following a proper procedure by the seller as stated by the Secretary of the society Capt. Chetry. Imran Hashmi should not think that he is above the laws of this land.

Naming the sea-link and politics

Last fortnight saw a political controversy over naming of the new bridge connection Bandra and Worli. It all started with opening ceremony of the bridge which was attended by Sonia Gandhi the congress high command and the high command of NCP Mr. Sharad Pawar as NCP and Congress are political bed fellows. The curious little thing is that, Sharad Pawar proposed to name this bridge by Rajiv Gandhi's name saying he was borne in Mumbai. To place some facts from history, the bridge was conceived during Sena-BJP tenure and they proposed to name it by Vir Savarkar.

Now one wonders why did Sharad Pawar proposed Rajiv's name. When actually his own stand these days are politicking on Maratha or Marathi first, be it for Prime Minister's post or Presidents. The underlining is that, Sharad Pawar is on looser's side even though he is in government with the help of congress. His problems are multiplied with his relative Mr. Padmasinh Patil in jail for a murder. He is desparate for congress help, and the state elections are due, where congress is making noises of going alone, in that scenerio NCP will be placed badly.

Raj Thakre and Hindi and English electronic media

It is surprising that there are no after shocks in the media particularly Hindi and English electronic media. Raj has taken potshots at the approach of media in all the controversies where ever his involvement is. He targeted a Aajtak advertisement about TRP and pointed out how the media twists the political statements and creates controversies to gain TRP.

The shameless honchos in Hindi media, who were seen very partisan in reporting during those controversies. Labeling Raj Thakre as Hitler and preparing charge sheets on him. Is it the game of tapping insecurity of North Indians? Thakre's anger seems to be more at political organization of North Indians by Samajwadi Party and Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam. He attacked vehemently on Uttar Bhartiaya Diwas, stating it is no where celebrated in the North India and has become a political tool in the hands of UP and Bihari politicians in Mumbai.

At the ground level the Maharastrians in majority hate the North Indian ( read UP and Bihari) influx in Mumbai. As it is affecting the demography of the city and create overburdening on civic amenities. The landlocked city is already on shortage of land mass for housing and other civic amenities like water supply and sewage treatment. Rising crimanalities and some reports of base of terrorism in Ajamgadh district of Uttar Pradesh increases the anger again.

I vote nobody

As per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote for anyone. Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".

Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY"?

Because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received "49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public....Please spread this news to as many as you know... Tata Nano not from Singur that is for sure

Ratan Tata made it clear that he is out off Singur now. In a press conference on last Friday he blamed it squarely on agitation by Mamata Banerjee for the decision.

At the hindsight it is culture of agitation which is cultivated by left parties in last 30 years has brought the situation to this end. It is easy to blame Mamata Banerjee, but detailed analysis will not warrant exclusion of the role of Leftist government of West Bengal. The rallies and agitations at the cost of development is the popular culture has come to forefront in the entire episode. It is the failure of left government also, in creating a consensual environment on this record.

Mr Tata is keen on timely roll out of his dream project and he cetainly can't sit idle till the issue gets resolved within Mamata and Buddha. It is of course a setback for Tata Motors as they failed to gauge the ground realities at Singur. Now they are scouting for alternative sites, and hopefully they won't get into similar situation.

Petrol and diesel prices hiked

Adding to the woes of high inflation rates and ever rising, petroleum minister Murali Deora today announced that there will be rise in petrol and diesel prices today onwards.

Petrol will rise by Rs. 5 and diesel by Rs. 3, per litre. LPG is also going the way of price rise, domestic LPG will cost Rs. 50 more now.

A marginal duty cut on crude is also muted, excise duty on petrol and diesel is cut by Rs. 1 and customs duty is made to null from Rs. 5 on crude.

Inflation in Indian State

Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is a celebrated economist and he says inflation can not be controlled. Add to that contradictory statements by the government like, 'opposition ruled state governments are not doing enough to contain inflation'.

Four years inflation has braked the backbone of common man and the state has failed improve the life quality of its citizens. Four year back the incumbent Congress party government came into power with the slogan 'Congress ka hath Garibon ke Sath', literally meaning we are for poor and the game they have played in last four years is certainly opposite of that theme.

I think the conclusion is very simple, a celebrated economist is not the answer to any countries economic woes. It needs vision and through understanding of the situation and a good team to address such problems.

A stunning example should be the Rail Ministry under notorious Laloo Prasad Yadav. Who couldn't do any thing for Bihar, but after getting a shocker in Bihar elections he is tried hard to improve his image by excellent performance in Rail Ministry. What he has done, is not magic but extending the support to a good team for good work in railways. That should be formula for other ministries and state functionaries.

Democracy Martyred in Pakistan

After the killing of Pakistani leader Benezir Bhutto, she was venerated as democracies martyr. But her will has martyred democracy itself. It is sad that in the Indian subcontinent political leadership has been taken as dynastic right to rule the nation. It is true about Nehru-Gandhi dynasty, as it is about Bhutto's in Pakistan, and there will be no different approach in Bangladesh or Nepal which is struggling for the democracy.

In India, we have hope at least in some opposition parties like BJP and Communists, but more or less all the parties play the same game of dynastic rules. Whether it is Mulayam Singh of Samajwadi party or Laloo of RJD. Even the small parties which has presence in states and limited to the states trade the same path. Take the example of Shivsena where Thakare's or in NCP the Pawar's and Sule's favor dynastic fashion of democracy(?). In south India, Karnataka's Janta Dal (S) of Devegauda belongs to his son Kumaraswami. Tamilnadu's DMK fights within the family for reins.

Modi wins Gujarat again

'Jitega Gujarat' was the slogan for Gujarat elections by BJP, and indeed Gujarat wins. There wasn't any opposition to BJP and Modi in Gujarat. As usual congress played minority politics and demography doesn't support it when hindus get united and unfortunately for the congress that rare thing happened again in Gujarat.

Despite modi haters from BJP itself, M/s. Keshubhai and Suresh Mehta couldn't do any damage to BJP votebank in Gujarat. The efforts taken by Tehelka to blame Modi for the riots post Godhra in fact helped him win many votes. So sad for the english media, professed by JNU commie generation which used every way including influencing analysis of exit polls, to get some psychological relief of beating an unbeatable foo.

What these people will learn from this? nothing. Because their minds are closed. They don't understand the real issues and are living in utopia of secularism.

Pratibha Patil will she be the new president of India?

Veteran Maharashtra politician and Governer of Rajasthan Ms. Pratibha Patil Shekhavat will most likely to be next president of India.

If it happens then she will be the first women president India ever had. Congress lead UPA government has played a shrewed political move with tokenism expressing their support for women candidate. As reservation for women's hanging without any initiative from the ruling alliance, common man is not that naive to understand the political gimmicks behind this move.

Pratibha Patil is Rajasthan's first female governor, and also currently the only female state governor in India.

Pratibha Patil was born to Narayan Rao in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. She did her M.A. from M.J. College, Jalgaon, and obtained a Law Degree from the Government Law College, Mumbai. During her college days, she won shields in inter-college table tennis tournaments.

She married Devisingh Ransingh Shekhawat on July 7, 1965. The couple has one son and one daughter. Before joining politics, she served as a social worker, and also practised as an advocate at Jalgaon.

President appeals to government to control prices. No government hopes that the new produce coming into market will control the prices of essential commodities.

You can find him in front chairs of every award function in mumbai. He is less bothered about the responsibilities bestowed on him by the democratic setup of this country.

During the last 8 years rule of Congress and its allies, government has not shown any vision or rather understanding of the power crisis of the state. They say Maharashtra has a deficit of 5000 Mega watts this year, and nothing done in past few years to tackle this problem. First five years they just kept on blaming the previous government, and playing the secularism card to confuse the masses. Now the very same government which came to power on the slogan of government for poor, and backwards has made life miserable for the very same section of society by deepening power crisis and rising inflation.

If the elections were due in coming months, people would have kicked them out of power, that is quite evident in recent Municipal elections of Greater Mumbai.
