"Congress ka hath Garibo ke Sath" or "Congress ka hath Aam aadmi ke sath" that was Indian National Congress propaganda in 2004 elections. Three years since then, the reality speaks differently. Rising inflation, sky rocketing prices of essential commodities does not augur well for Congress lead UPA government at the center.
Finance minister says he is hapless, and doesn't have a magical wand to ward off inflation. Prime minister appeals to Chief Minister's of states to work on controlling prices. President appeals to government to control prices. No government hopes that the new produce coming into market will control the prices of essential commodities.
