Indian Cricket team gets ready for Cricket World Cup 2007, a new Jersey has been designed by their apparel sponsors NIKE Inc. It's light blue color and 15 percent lighter. According to NIKE official it is designed to beat the heat in West Indian climate.
A lot of inputs from Dravid and the other players have gone into the making of the new jersey. Since tying up with BCCI, Nike officials informed that they have been interacting with coach Greg Chappell and the entire support staff to finalise details of the jersey.
Some of the highlights of the new designed jersey are.

- Vents for breathability ensured due to engineered mesh
- Dri-fit technology to keep players dry from sweat and cool all day long
- Easy body movement due to design
- Shades of the Tri-colour on the jersey for inspiration
