As reservation for women's hanging without any initiative from the ruling alliance, common man is not that naive to understand the political gimmicks behind this move.
Pratibha Patil is Rajasthan's first female governor, and also currently the only female state governor in India.
Pratibha Patil was born to Narayan Rao in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. She did her M.A. from M.J. College, Jalgaon, and obtained a Law Degree from the Government Law College, Mumbai. During her college days, she won shields in inter-college table tennis tournaments.
She married Devisingh Ransingh Shekhawat on July 7, 1965. The couple has one son and one daughter. Before joining politics, she served as a social worker, and also practised as an advocate at Jalgaon.
